Contest RULES

  1. Eligibility
    • This contest is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
    • Minors may enter with written permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  2. Entry Period
    • Submissions will be accepted beginning March 1 and must be received by March 12 at 11:59 p.m. local time.
    • Late submissions or entries received after the deadline will not be considered.
  3. Submission Guidelines
    • Entrants must provide original artwork that reflects the spirit and theme of the Wild West Festival.
    • Submissions can be in digital or physical format as specified on the Wild West Festival’s official website or contest page.
    • Each entrant may submit up to three (3) designs.
    • By entering this contest, each entrant attests that the design is their own creation and does not violate any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
  4. Ownership and Rights
    • All submissions become the property of the Wild West Festival, Inc. upon receipt.
    • By submitting an entry, entrants grant the Wild West Festival, Inc. the exclusive, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, modify, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from the design in any and all media.
    • The Wild West Festival, Inc. reserves the right to adapt, edit, or otherwise modify the winning design to ensure it meets various production requirements.
  5. Selection Process
    • The Wild West Festival, Inc. will review all entries and select up too ten (10) designs by March 13.
    • Public voting on these ten (10) finalists will begin on March 17 and end on March 31.
    • The winner will be determined based on the total votes received during the public voting period. In the event of a tie, the Wild West Festival, Inc. reserves the right to determine the final winner through an internal vote or additional tiebreaker.
    • Only one vote per person will be allowed
    • Wild West Festival, Inc. reserves the right to make any and all final decisions about the adoption of a new logo, brand identity, and associated materials.
  6. Winner Announcement and Prize
    • The winning design will be announced in early April (exact date to be determined).
    • The winning entrant will receive acknowledgment on the Wild West Festival’s official website and social media channels.
    • Any prize or compensation, if offered, will be specified by the Wild West Festival, Inc. prior to the start of the contest.
  7. General Conditions
    • The Wild West Festival, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who fails to comply with these Official Rules or whose actions hinder the fairness of the contest.
    • The Wild West Festival, Inc. is not responsible for any technical or communication failures that prevent submissions or votes from being counted.
    • By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Wild West Festival, Inc. from all liability related to participation in this contest.
  8. Publicity
    • Participation in the contest constitutes the winner’s consent to the use of their name, city/state of residence, and design for promotional purposes by the Wild West Festival, Inc. without further compensation or approval, unless prohibited by law.
  9. Privacy
    • The Wild West Festival, Inc. will collect personal information solely for the purpose of administering this contest. Information will not be sold or shared with third parties, except to fulfill the terms of the contest or where required by law.
  10. Governing Law
    • These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws, and venue shall lie exclusively in the appropriate courts located within the State of Kansas.
