Calling all Volunteers!

VOLUNTEER FOR THE 2024 EVENT

Volunteers are needed for set up, event security and tear down.

 

Location

WWF Shelter House at Municipal Park

 

Dates & Time

Set Up – Saturday, June 29th – Wednesday, July 3rd (6:30 am until late afternoon)

Security – Wednesday, July 3rd, Friday, July 5th and Saturday, July 6th (4:30 pm until midnight)

Tear Down – Sunday, July 7th (6:30 am until complete)

You must be 18 years of age and provide a valid Driver’s License or ID. Exception to the age requirement will be granted to youth organizations accompanied by an adult supervisor.

 

Expectations

Set up and tear down tasks include:

  • Fencing the grounds
  • Assembling tents
  • Placing signage
  • Arranging chairs
  • Placing trash barrels around the grounds
  • Packing and removing everything from the grounds
  • Heavy lifting may be required

 Bring your own gloves, sunscreen, work clothes and close-toed shoes. A light breakfast, snacks, lunch, water and sports drinks are provided.

 

 Security tasks include:
  • Staffing entrance and exit points
  • Screening bags
  • Patrolling grounds
  • Directing parking

A security vest and radio will be provided.
